U.S. President Barack Obama declared June 2011 to be Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Pride Month. There is a slideshow that is to be watched by Governemnt employees among other things. Many a parade along with lots of flamboyant charactars we get to watch celebrate in whatever way they want to I guess

no word on when heterosexual honky month will be

welp, the appraisal went thru and we paid $15K less than the house was appraised for.

as long as gas doesn't go up to $6/gal, I should be OK....

congrats.

While I hate the initial stage where you are broke for a few months trying to build back up your savings, buying a house is an exciting time. There was a period where I bought 3 houses in 4 years. I won't ever try to do that again.
I like the stinky pinky but only up to the first knuckle, I do not want a GD thumb up there--I've told her multiple times and I always catch her when she tries to pull a fast one---it's my butthole for Chrissakes I'm gonna know--so cut out the BS.

well, if I can sell my house for what it's worth (not much even in this sad market), we hopefully will be full owners within 5-7 years. I've got a little set aside for getting current house ready for market and making some repairs on new one, plus holding onto a bit until tax time next spring. my biggest problem is keeping my wife from going on a craigslist buying spree for used furniture.
