Question -

Would you trade LBJ, Miller, and Haslem for Howard/Turkoglu?

I think that's one of those trades that benefit both sides. Orlando would get an all star that didn't have the hammer on them next year and Miami would get a legit big and allow Wade to handle the ball more. Turkoglu would be added just to get rid of some of the dead weight on their roster.

Miami might not do it but I think anything you would lose offensively, you would more than make up with the defensive presence and rebounding of Howard.

That's the question. Do you ever trade the best player in the L, going into his prime? Regardless of who you get back?

I would do the trade, but I'm not sure if Miami would...or if I'm only saying it because it would make me happy to make Lebron unhappy.

you know, with my horrible life and all

My life is miserable as well so I must admit it would make me extremely happy to see him playing alongside Arenas

I guess the biggest thing I have started to question is your comment "Do you trade the best player in the L?" He's had some less than stellar playoff performances. Most of the greats never really stunk it up that consistently. They might have had a couple missteps but not really to the scale that LBJ has.

There are few players I would consider trading LBJ for but I think Howard would have to be one of them.

first time really watching Indiana this year, David West was an excellent addition

he broke up 2 skirmishes & then he hustled the team back into the locker room while telling them to quit celebrating after tieing the series 1-1

it doesn't seem like much but Danny Granger has some serious knucklehead tendencies... and he's got something going with Bron that's just making matters worse

David West is definitely a professional...good description Rat. CP3 LOVED that dude. He brings a value you don't normally see.

Danny Granger is worth a lot less than he thinks he is...which is always dangerous.

players 3 thru 9 for Miami are absolutely no match for Indy's 3 thru 9

looks like Boston is now the eastern conference favourite

Stephen A is already pushing the rumor that MIA will look to trade Wade and Bosh to Orlando for D12. I always argued it should be Lebron straight up...it's a better move for MIA.

Dwight's back is a bit of a concern, though. Only a bit.

Celtics will beat Philly but I don't think any team in the East is going to have a chance against either SA or OKC. SA looks unbeatable right now.... fortunately the finals are a few weeks away for teams

as for LBJ, is that guy ever going to carry his team down the stretch in the playoffs?

heh, just saw the Juwan Howard - Lance Stevenson faceoff during shootaround

2 role players, but I love the subplots, you have to love a series where there is absolutely no love at all between the players

Big City vs. Country Bumpkins.

Miami is scared. Big time. You can smell it.

biggest playoff game those 2 have ever played together. 35 straight points

see what happens in game 5 but i think the pacers come out of this series. Idont see the pacers allowing 70 points to james wade in game 5/6/7 maybe they carry them to 1 more victory but I don't see miami winning 2 more.

agree with the west thunder/spurs will be the winner of the whole thing. if spurs win that would be there 5th or 6th since duncan started. pretty impressive. he still looks as good as ever

It would be there 5th since Timmy came on board.

Pop is the master of the shortened season.

Yeah but I think alot of that has to do with the fact that, like his players, he doesn't carry the typical NBA ego. How many coaches sit all 3 of their best players when they have 10 game winning streaks (not once, but twice)? Most players would argue with the coach to see how long the streak could go and most coaches would want to try to have their name beside a record.

Not to say that either he or the Spurs players lack an ego.... just that they carry themselves much better than most. For me, they are truly the one team I want to win if it isn't my favourite team that's going to win (which isn't going to happen probably while I am alive but that's a different story). They win with class. I can just imagine how many "This is why we came to Miami, to win multiple titles" quotes I would hear if the Heat won.... that and the "we proved all the doubters wrong, we knew all along... blah, blah, blah"

Hibbert should be dominating, as should West. They aren't. They also aren't getting many chances. Vogel needs to learn but it may be too late to do so this year.
More likely to be at http://detroitpistonsforum.com or http://www.detroitlionsforum.com/forums/ but I'll pop in every now and again.

I wouldn't write Indy off just yet. A game 7 could be just what they need to have another LBJ magic act (you know, the one where he disappears).
