You'll know something's up for sure if Dirk suddenly can't get to the line in this series.
From the town of Possum's Paw, Alabama, standing 6'2" and weighing 150 lbs, the one, the only, the legend... Bootney Farnsworth.

Personally, they weren't that awesome in 1996, I don't understand the frenzy today.

I'm trying to remember this Bulls player from several years ago. If I remembered enough I could Google to see what's the latest on him. I think his name (first or last) was William(s) and he changed his name to an odd one, seems like it was an animal. He had a good basketball career going on then he quit to sail or something like that and he got lost at sea? Am I right about that? Seems like they decided he died. I'd appreciate if anybody can help with his name.

Yep. He was killed by his brother in Bora Bora, or some other Pacific Isle.

Bklyn, yes, that's what. I remember wondering why in the world would he quit basketball when he did.

I think he quit basketball because his heart wasn't in it and he wanted to do other things. Basketball was just never that important to him. Phil Jackson loved him though...tried to get him to come out of retirement and play for the Lakers. He decided to stay away.

He had his demons. My guess is that both he and his brother suffered from mental illness.
