It's very weird rooting for Carlos Boozer. This is the first time ever. Even on the Olympic team I hoped he sucked. Strange postseason this is going to be for me.

hard to win 16 from 23 ft, though. Dallas can get got. LA was dysfunctional and they gave away two of the 4 games they lost in the last 5 minutes.

I ain't a believer.

Noah, Deng and of course Rose were all big time for the Bulls last night. Kind of figured the Heat would struggle some with Noah's energy and athleticism. Surprised, though, by how shaky the Heat were to a man handling the ball. They just looked out of sorts, especially over the last 15-16 minutes of the game.

not a fan of Chicago's shot selection, they settle way too much for a team shooting 1-8 from 3

it's beginning to look like Miami-Dallas is lock in the finals

That said, the Bulls could use more of a distributor on offense. They get bogged down from time to time. It doesn't help that Carlos Boozer plays fairy wand waver when he's in the post. You would think that with his physique he should be able to get more layups or free throw attempts but instead its Ballerina 101. Pathetic. That's a contract Chicago's gonna hate next year.

Heh. I say that and he just drew a foul down low.

Either way, Booz relies way too much on that bitch ass hook/flip shot. He doesn't keep the pressure on.

The Bulls have horrendous sets coming out of timeouts. Their last two possessions were just weak and uninspired. Rose needs to drive and force double-teams. James isn't going to be too aggressive defending him on the drive because he doesn't want to pick up a foul. Why settle for the jump shot? Especially on the last possession? Drive to the hoop. At the worst, you miss and you go to OT. But the up side is the you could either score the goal, draw a foul or both.

How long can Boozer keep up with the flagrants before he misses a game?

Why did the NBA even play the ECF when it's obvious given the absolute bullshit calls that Wade and LeBron got in Game 5 that they wanted the Heat in the Finals? Is breathing heavy on King James and Wade a foul now suddenly? Good Lord the Heat didn't need any help in this series but they sure the hell got a lot of it.

I just became a Mavs fan although I doubt I watch any more of this farce league this year.

Yeah, the officiating last night was pretty biased. And it was pretty annoying listening to the TNT crew basically cheer for the Heat for most of the night. Kind of puts an even more bitter face on the league. Too much in the way of trying to force people to become fans of a specific aspect of the product, whether or not they want to.

The Heat's offense is awful and, if they go on to win the title this year, will probably be the worst for an NBA champion in a long, long time. Chicago really could've used both Gordon and Heinrich in this series, because they weren't getting nearly enough from their new list of shooters, including Korver.

Actually, I thought Kerr was more Chicago-leaning in his coverage. But whatever, Miami's offense sucks, in general. They get by their struggles when the offense bogs down by feasting on the foul line. Dallas is balling this post season, but we'll see if it turns into a Bennett Salvatore 2006 scenario.

Miami has home court, right?

Miami has home court and their own rules. That will even things out a shitton. Take away those factors and I wouldn't be shocked to see the Mavs sweep. Given the home court and the special Heat star treatment I see this going 7.
