If no one comes from the future to stop you from doing it, then how bad of a decision can it really be?

Bosh sucks.

Trade him for a true big man if you can, like a Dwight Howard.

Goldenbrae sighting!

Congratulations Dallas. One of the things I liked about their effort tonight was how they tipped rebounds to teammates. Quality team effort, people stepping up when the ace was having a tough night. Speaking of which, I thought Bosh was actually pretty good tonight. He got Dirk in some foul trouble.

The off-season firing of Spo and cattiness between the big three should be entertaining.

Chris Bosh is a bitch.

During a press conference later, O'Mara was asked if he had any advice for Zimmerman, and he answered, "Pay me."

Like I said, I felt the Mavs had a good chance of beating either the Heat or the Bulls simply because even with their tendency to go cold from the outside in the playoffs, the Mavs would bring to either team something that they didn't see routinely: competent offense.

The Mavs winning isn't a surprise. Watching "The Big Three" routinely pass up shots in the final 15 or so minutes of the game was. LeBron did take a couple of shots late (out of necessity?) but there were several posessions prior to all that where he and Wade deferred too much, and there were a couple of times where Bosh himself didn't go up strong near the basket. One shot was so bad that it looked like Junior trying to sneak in a shot over daddy one night in front of the garage.

Anyway... congrats to Dirk. Ironic that he wins a title on a night in which for much of the game he was more a hindrance to his team than a help. Jason Terry should've gotten a little bit more consideration for the Finals MVP, IMO. Not saying that he was definitely the MVP, but his play in the last two games alone was difference making.

Nowitzki is now truly Der Fuhrer...I always though that was a much more tasteful nickname than the Diggler.

“All the people that were rooting me on to fail, at the end of the day they have to wake up tomorrow and have the same life they had before,” James said. “They have the same personal problems they had to today. I’m going to continue to live the way I want to live and continue to do the things that I want with me and my family and be happy with that.”

Lebron needs a new PR person. Look LBJ you just got punked by a less talented but better team. Deal with it.

To hear James suggest that the world will have to return to its sad, little ordinary lives and he’ll still get to be LeBron James late Sunday night was a window into his warped, fragile psyche. It was sad, and portends to how disconnected to the world he truly is.

There’s nothing real about James’ world, and never has been. He’s a prisoner of a life that his sycophants and enablers and our sporting culture has created for him. He’s rich and talented and something of a tortured soul. He’s the flawed superstar for these flawed times. He’s a creation of a basketball breeding ground full of such twisted priorities and warped principles. Almost every person who’s ever had to work closely with him, who has spent significant time, who’s watched him belittle and bully people, told me they were rooting hard against him. That’s sad, and that’s something he doesn’t understand and probably never will.

5:20: Breen mentions the 20-7 free throw disparity for Miami, then gets electroshocked by ABC producers.
