Oh yeah, congrats on your retirement, AA...

Thanks, hedge. I am doing a lot of charity work in retirement. Much more exhausted than when I was actually working for money.

Your beatdowns of Prof qualify as exhausting charity work...

Since when does hiring crack head hookers classify as charity work?

That is work with unwed mothers!

I do not want to beat him down. I want to leave him alone. But he tasks me...he tasks me.

Are you saying it hurts you worse than it hurts him?

It does.

Since this an SEC football thread, I think there’s an SEC game tomorrow. Any predictions?

I’m thinking Bama 24, Georgia 20 at the wire, much like the last time they played.

Tomorrow?

But, nah, it doesn't hurt me at all. I, being a traditional southern gentlemen, prefer to act with civility and decorum.

As far as the game on Monday, a coin flip at best. Would feel better had we not lost another LBer and a very good OLineman in the Sugar Bowl

Warms my heart to see all the warm fuzzies bandied back and forth even if only for a short time. No relevant Val smack or DDAL to boldly predict a Dawg victory but lets not get greedy.

AA didn't conjure up a GBIIT so major rueage in store for Uga - though my guess is that is will be a gradual grinding beatdown as opposed to a shock and awe rout.

That's good, rueage is good...

The only thing better than a good old fashioned P,YAAM, or A,TAPR, or a MPNCAA, is a hearty G,BIIT. A passing comment on an injured LB and banged up OL is thin gruel indeed.

And hedge is right. "rueage" should be added to the official lexicon of these boards. Well done.

It’ll end something like this:

That game, and that last play, was Richt’s Pickett’s Charge. The Dawgs were never the same until this year.

Just as a I predicted, a long and grinding beatdown .... and doing it while trailing on the scoreboard and not taking the lead until the last play with a backup freshman QB and hooking kicker.
Somebody needed to apply the hobnail boot to uga this year with UF being so far out of reach so some thanks to Saban.

Thanks to AA's non-sandbag prediction earlier this year that he thought Bama would be pretty good, which was tantamount to guaranteeing a championship victory, I won my bowl picks contest at work. Actually, I won by a landslide and it was over before the playoffs even began, but I had Bama beating UGa in the finals with a total score tiebreaker (utterly unnecessary) of 52, although I had actually crossed out 48 and changed it to 52. Still, not bad...

I wish you would be crossed out.

Congrats to Bama, again. Saban is flat out incredible.

EFZ. That's what the dawgs were when all was said and done.

Last year's Super Bowl.... this year's NC game.... this has been a rough year for fans of local football teams in the Peach State.
