Guess we should call this the big-money conference now.

I've been calling them that for years. No wait, that's the SEC.

1. Oregon - Most of the offense returns, which is impressive enough, and the defense should be no worse than last year
2. Stanford - Too much of Harbaugh's Stanford remains, so despite the coaching change, the Cardinal should still be tough
3. Washington - Going to take a flyer on the Huskies; Locker's erraticism actually cost them a couple of games last year
4. USC - Too much talent in LA for Kiffin to screw up. Last year might be a hint of some of the perpetual near-mediocrity, though.
5. Arizona State - the Sun Devils could/should have the PAC 10's top defense. Can they get something out of the passing game?
6. Arizona - The Wildcats have to strengthen a few areas on defense and need to see more consistency out of their offense
7. Utah - Maybe underrating them here but the transition to playing an actual full-season BCS conference slate may require an adjusment period for Whittingham's team.
8. California - Something about Tedford's teams of the last three or four seasons cries "mailing it in" all too often. More talented than the results.
9. UCLA - I'm rating them higher than others and even THIS ranking is less than what the UCLA brass had envision three years ago when they hired Skippy.
10. Oregon State - Very disappointing 2010 season from the Beavers. They'll need to find a new back to help keep the offense balanced. Defensively... ho hum.
11. Colorado - A lateral move in the conference standings. Apparently, though, with a bigger share of the conference revenues.
12. Washington State - Compared to the infamous 2009 team, this year's squad is downright dangerous.

Pac-12 not expanding again...for the moment.

So, at least we have one league not rushing to get to 16.

It was funny the 1st time, the 2nd, not so much.

Moron

Basically, the Pac-12 is protecting their network plans with this move.

I doubt many teams would be signing up for these in a few years once the B1G/Pac12 alliance takes effect

Going to the BC game next September. Do they tailgate in Compton? Is this something that visiting fans can do or do I need to contribute money to the USC alumni association or something?

I think you should wear your "Black people who voted for Obama are stupid and should not be allowed to vote" t-shirt when you go to Compton...
