I wish Garrett Gilbert well othwerwise, but I've already made my peace with God that I'm going to suffer in the not-too-distant future as I hope for a season-ending knee injury by the end of next week.

Long live Chase McCoy (or whoever).

God bless Garrett but I'm glad he's being sat, even if it's just for a week. Kid just get's rattled and loses his focus easily. Here's hoping the two-headed monster plus Malcolm Brown can lead to a seven or eight win season minimum.

"Longhorn Network has taken up a tremndous amount of time.Much more than we anticipated when the season started.Obviously we didn't have any idea what we were doing, they just put it on us."-Mack Brown

Sounds like a new excuse is emerging...

Texas is going to run the wishbone their first play to honor him - which I think is pretty cool.

ISU should agree to allow three yards and a cloud of dust on the first play....

Listening to these announcers, you'd think uTex is the only team that has ever played in Provo.

If the Mack Brown death watch hadn't already officially started, I think tonight's result in Provo just kicked it off. Losing to BYU is not in and of itself a disaster, but, for Texas, losing by 19 to BYU while giving up 550 yards on the ground is.

Texas hires Greg Robinson, former DC who they had been employing as an analyst to replace Diaz. Amazingly, the longhorn spin machine manages to turn the press release announcing their desperation move into a plug for LHN.
"I've been around the team a lot, watched all of their film and have been self scouting and scouting opponents since I came on board in July. Because of Longhorn Network, I've also been able to see these guys for two to three years and am very familiar with the personnel."

He wasn't fired. He was reassigned. Now he makes copies.

At this point, Mack Brown coaching the Horns is like propping up Bernie throughout Weekend at Bernie's.....
