Re: Puterbac News Network and Political Discussion Thread

Did nobody get that my story about the would-be bomber in Ohio was sarcasm? The guy had ties to the Occupy movement, not the Tea Party.

...but I'm sure you all knew that already, since it's received sooo much coverage from the 9:1.

Re: Puterbac News Network and Political Discussion Thread

I don't know about the rest of you, but I think it's nothing short of outrageous how the news media have failed to give the appropriate amount of coverage to the Tea Party cock-sucker who just plead guilty to attempting to blow-up a bridge in Cleveland -- with the goal of killing as many innocent ci...

Mostly increases in government jobs under Bush, many of which Obama has cut. Seems like you'd be happy about that...
LMAO...I would say you can't make this shit up, but obviously that would be wrong.

Re: Puterbac News Network and Political Discussion Thread

I'm shocked that you would post an article that affirms Clinton as the most fiscally sound president of this generation. This is where you usually post all those funny reasons you think he doesn't deserve ANY credit for his fiscal discipline or the excellent economy we enjoyed on his watch. It woul...

Well, I suppose I have to give credit to 'tick for at least being somewhat honest about his relentless, irrational hatred of George W. Bush.

I can still remember the waterfall of posts by yourself, 'tick, DSL, The Talent, Hedge, et al, absolutely indignant and outraged by such examples of Bush's incompetence, real and imagined. I remember how concerned you all were with any sign of bad economic news -- like when unemployment topped 6%! N...

Re: Puterbac News Network and Political Discussion Thread

52 months of continuous economic growth > 52 polls based largely on subjective criteria.

Any poll that lists Obama as the 15th best POTUS in history is laughable.

And I was never a big fan of Bush. But I didn't hate him with every fiber of my being, so naturally you guys think I was a big fan.

Re: Puterbac News Network and Political Discussion Thread

By any objective standard, Obama has been much worse than Dubya. Much worse. It's not even close. In fact, just about the only things Obama can point to as positives have been continuations of Bush policies. I was never a huge fan of Bush, but you can't deny that under his tenure, the U.S. saw the l...
